Flood

Flooding is when a Network Switch doesn't know which device it should send Frame to so it broadcast to all the devices except for the incoming ones.

Whichone answer back the broadcast will be saved in the MAC Table for future reference.

Note

• For Broadcast frame, Network Switch always flood
• For Unicast frame, Network Switch only flood if MAC address is not in MAC Table
