Shard Splitting

to divided "hot shard"
Increase stream capacity (limited to 1Mb/s per shard)
- For example, this we creased throughput from 3Mb/s to 4Mb/s
Old shared will be closed and deleted once data is expired
No automatic auto scaling (manually increase/decrease capacity)
Can't split into more than 2 shard in single operation

Merging Shard

Decrease capacity to save costs, oposite of Shard Splitting
Old shared will be closed and deleted once data is expired
Can't merge more than 2 shard in single operation
